There’s nothing quite like witnessing the heart and soul of a community come alive through the passion of volunteers. At Pista sa Nayon 2025, Acsenda School of Management was transformed into a vibrant collage of tradition, music, color, and unity , all thanks to the tireless work of our incredible students, alumni, and staff behind the event coordination.
What made this celebration so special wasn’t just the powerful dances or the delicious food, it was the bayanihan spirit that echoed through every corner of the campus. From the Philippines to the heart of Vancouver, our community brought the joy and warmth of a true barrio fiesta to life.
A Celebration to Remember
Our campus was buzzing with excitement as traditional Filipino music filled the air and guests were treated to lively folk dances, beautiful traditional attire, and the warm hospitality that defines Filipino culture. Students and their families were able to share their heritage with classmates from around the world, creating new memories and meaningful connections along the way.
We were honoured to have Consul General Dr. Gina Jamoralin and Ms. Eleanor dela Cruz, Economic Assistant, from the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, and PCTC guests: Mercedes Wong, Ajit Thandijoin with us in the festivities. Their presence and heartfelt words of encouragement reminded us all of the power of cultural pride and the value of community representation. Maraming salamat po!

To our student clubs, volunteers, Student Services team, and every member of the Acsenda family who helped plan, decorate, rehearse, and promote, your dedication made this event an incredible success. You reminded us that with teamwork, creativity, and love for our roots, we can create unforgettable experiences.
