Your learning opportunities can extend beyond your home institution, through an international study abroad experience.

I am looking to apply as a:

1) STUDY ABROAD
STUDENT

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

I am an international student studying at another post secondary institution and am interested in spending up to one year gaining an international study experience in Canada at Acsenda School of Management. I confirm that I have consent from my home institution, and discussed the possibility of receiving transfer credit for courses taken at Acsenda.

As a Study Abroad student, you are registered with and pay tuition to Acsenda School of Management. You are also required to have a “Letter of Permission” from your home institution.

2) EXCHANGE
STUDENT

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

I am an international student attending a partner institution and am interested in attending Acsenda School of Management as a part of a bilateral exchange, or a multilateral exchange such as UMAP. I have received a nomination from my home institution and have confirmed the arrangements for transfer credit for courses taken at Acsenda.

In an exchange program, you are registered with and pay tuition to your home institution. Programs can last one or two semesters, beginning in the fall or spring semester.

3) VISITING
STUDENT

ALREADY IN CANADA

I am interested in taking a particular course at Acsenda School of Management. I am eligible to study in Canada, and/or I am studying at another school in Canada. I am aware that Acsenda is a part of the BC Transfer System (BCCAT) and have confirmed arrangements for transfer credit with my home institution if applicable.

As a Visiting Student, you are registered with and pay tuition to Acsenda School of Management. You are also required to have a “Letter of Permission” from your home institution.

Partnered with UMAP:

Outgoing Exchange Students to UMAP Partner Institutions

Acsenda offers exciting opportunities for its students to study at one of the UMAP partner institutions and through bilateral agreements with Acsenda Partner Institutions – a plethora of options are available to you!

Please note students must ensure that they meet and obtain all necessary immigration requirements and permits.

Acsenda School of Management is part of the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP).  Founded in 1991, the UMAP is an association of universities throughout the Asia Pacific region.   Along with many of the top higher educational institutions, Acsenda welcomes students from other UMAP institutions to study at our campus and expand your education in business or hospitality management.

There are two types of programs:

Program A is a multilateral exchange program in which Participating universities/institutions among UMAP members send and receive two students per semester.

Universities/institutions may accept more inbound students than the maximum number of two students in return for extra ‘quotas’ to send more outbound students in the following semesters without any expiration date.

Program B is a bilateral student exchange made between any two UMAP Participating universities/institutions that would like to exchange more than two students. Conditions for the waiver/non-waiver of tuition fees will depend on the host universities/institutions. Programs l can last one or two semesters/terms, usually beginning in either January or September.

Exchanges are made between UMAP Participating universities/institutions on a tuition-waiver basis. Programs can last one or two semesters, beginning in the fall or spring semester.

The host university/institution waives tuition fees and assist students in securing appropriate accommodations at a reasonable cost.

In both programs, students take courses at the other institution and can receive transfer of earned credits to their home university/institution.
