Acsenda and Arbutus College invite you to a fun and festive trip to the German Christmas Market at North Vancouver Shipyard on Tuesday, December 2nd. Enjoy the charm of traditional German holiday — and the best part, entry is free! We’ll meet inside the Waterfront Station next to the Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar restaurant and enjoy the holiday spirit together! We will also be hosting a Christmas Photo Challenge—take a creative holiday-themed photo at the market for a chance to be featured and a win prize. It’s a great way to make memories and connect with new friends. Lets stroll through beautifully decorated stalls, enjoy authentic German treats, and experience the warmth of a European-style Christmas market.  Gather your classmates and celebrate the season! This delightful holiday experience goes beyond shopping. As you weave your way through the glowing aisles, you will discover over 100 wooden stalls offering unique artisanal gifts and Europe cuisine. In addition, you can enjoy festive music, skate on the ice rink, and admire the City’s magnificent Christmas tree. Furthermore, Santa’s chalet and community entertainment will add to the joyful spirit. To complete the experience, indulge in seasonal favourites such as bratwursts, mulled wine, and hot cocoa. We will immerse ourselves in German traditions, from seasonal foods to handcrafted gifts.   Register now!

Holiday Notice: BC Day Closure Please be advised that our campus will be closed on Monday, August 4, 2025, in observance of British Columbia Day. British Columbia Day is a provincial holiday that celebrates the unique culture, diverse communities, and natural beauty of our province. It’s a time to reflect on the heritage and contributions that have shaped British Columbia into what it is today. We will resume regular operations on Tuesday, August 5.
