TAXN401 – Taxation
An introductory course on the Canadian income tax system. Students develop an understanding of key principles of the Income Tax Act (ITA) as they apply to individual and corporate taxpayers. The course builds professional skills in applying ITA concepts, introduces basic income tax planning, and provides an overview of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
