Student Well-Being

Recognizing and prioritizing mental health and well-being is crucial to fostering success among every student.

Acsenda School of Management is excited to introduce No Fear Counselling our on-site therapy services exclusively for Acsenda students.

Every Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm, students have the opportunity to connect with an NFC therapist in a supportive and confidential environment.

We understand that therapy takes different forms for each individual, and we encourage you to reach out for support whenever you need it. Whether you’re dealing with test anxiety, self-identity issues, or conflicts with family and friends, a counselor can provide a safe space for you to express yourself while equipping you with valuable tools to manage the stresses of everyday life.

No Fear Counselling comprises a team of over 170 professional therapists who speak more than 40 different languages in Vancouver.

Our partnership with Acsenda includes:

  • Free On-Campus Counselling Services: Access to a Registered Clinical Counselor for four hours every week, offering support to students.
  • Monthly Zoom Presentations: Tailored to address mental health topics relevant to Acsenda students.
  • Additional Counselling Services: Students can access No Fear Downtown Clinics or benefit from discounted per-session rates for further counseling needs.

This resource is invaluable to our school as it recognizes that mental health is crucial to the success of every student. Our on-site advising services and monthly presentations can be customized to meet the unique needs of our student body.

Don’t hesitate to reach out for support – we’re here for you!

Acsenda is also proud to collaborate with the Here2Talk service.

Welcome to Here2Talk!

For most students, post-secondary education is a time of mixed emotions as they learn to navigate a new routine, gain more independence, and balance competing social and academic priorities. The good news is, you don’t have to do it alone!

Here2Talk connects students with mental health support when they need it. Through this program, all students – domestic or international – currently registered in a B.C. post-secondary institution have access to free, confidential counselling and community referral services, conveniently available 24/7 via app, phone and web.

No issue is too big or too small
