REES402 – Real Estate Development and Management
Provides an overview of the interdisciplinary real estate development process, covering stages from concept to feasibility and planning. Students explore organizational structures, contracts, procurement, performance management, location analysis, and leadership. Case studies from across Canada illustrate the impacts of development practices. Students conclude the course by preparing a strategic development plan including feasibility, financing, approval processes, and marketing.
