Acsenda School of Management recently kicked off the new school term with a “Welcome Week” ice skating event at the Robson Square Ice Rink. The event brought together a diverse group of students from around the world, many of whom were experiencing Canadian culture for the first time.
The ice skating event was a great opportunity for the students to bond and get to know one another. For many of the students, it was their first time on the ice and they were thrilled to experience this winter tradition. The school’s staff were on hand to teach the students how to skate and provide support, allowing the students to successfully glide around the rink with smiles on their faces.
Some staff at Acsenda also participated in the event, including President Dr. Neil Mort, who helped to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for the new students.
Overall, the ice skating event was a great success and an exciting way to kick off the new term. It provided an opportunity for the students to have fun and make new friends while experiencing a unique aspect of Canadian culture. The school is looking forward to organizing more events like this in the future to continue to bring the students together and foster a strong sense of community.
