Acsenda School of Management (ASM) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Andy Basi as Vice President Academic. Dr. Basi’s extensive background and expertise in higher education and the healthcare sector will bring a new level of excellence to our academic programs.
Dr. Basi’s impressive leadership skills are well-proven. He has previously served as an Associate Dean for the School of Health Sciences at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and as an instructor at several institutions in British Columbia. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership – Post-secondary from Simon Fraser University, an MBA and is a certified healthcare executive (CHE) with over 30 years of experience driving positive change in public and private organizations. Aside from his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Basi is also committed to community service and has received various awards, including the Governor General of Canada Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal. These awards demonstrate his remarkable achievements and service to the local community and Canada as a whole.
At ASM, we take pride in providing degree programs in Business and Management that equip our graduates with the specific skills required for various industry sectors. Our graduates are well-received in the workforce for their ability to succeed in diverse, complex, and changing work environments.
