Lecture Series on Global Leadership: The Future of Environmentalism – April 24th

To support Acsenda School of Management’s brand promise “INTERNATIONAL THINKING. INDIVIDUAL FOCUS” and as part of the year-long activities to celebrate our 10th year anniversary as a degree granting institution since 2004, we have launched the Lecture Series on Global Leadership. This lecture series will feature great thinkers and their perspective and experiences on leadership as it expands the horizons of time and space. The specific names of other Guest Speakers, their topics and the dates and time of their presentations will be announced as these are confirmed.

On October 7th, 2013, Acsenda School of Management had its Open House and the inaugural speech for the Lecture Series was delivered by the Hon. A. Brian Peckford (P. C., LLD), Chancellor of Acsenda School of Management and the former Premier of Newfoundland & Labrador. Chancellor Peckford delivered a very passionate and inspiring discourse on “Global Leadership: A Personal Perspective”. Chancellor Peckford’s presentation could be accessed here.

On January 13th, 2014, the second lecture entitled “Leading Higher Education in Turbulent Times” was delivered by Sir John Daniel (M.A., M.A. (Ed.Tech.), D ès-Sc.), an External Academic and Member of the Academic Council of Acsenda School of Management.
