An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk/Assistant.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Entering A/P invoices into our ERP system
  • Completing payments runs, bi-weekly
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding outstanding payments
  • Deposit customer payments
  • Entering customer payments into our ERP system
  • Contacting customers regarding outstanding balances
  • Credit checks
  • A/R Invoicing (backup)

Other tasks:

  • Payroll (backup)
  • Monthly remittances
  • Assist with month-end journal entries
  • Other tasks as required

Qualifications and experience:

  • 1 – 3 years of accounting experience
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and oral
  • Data entry skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when entering data
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
  • Self-motivated, and a desire to achieve personal/team goals
  • Proficient in computer software specifically Excel and Outlook
  • ERP experience an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
