Business ContestAcsenda School of Management and TeenFest Canada will provide teens throughout the Greater Vancouver Region and Vancouver Island regions the opportunity for individuals and teams of high school students to test their business ideas and abilities.

How does it work?

Individuals and Teams of 3 will compete to present their business plan and pitch to a team of panelists. Business plans will be submitted along with a video pitching their idea. There will be three finalists from each category chosen by the judging panel based on plan criteria and votes. The finalists will be invited to participate in a “pressure cooker” situation the morning of the TeenFest Vancouver on May 10, 2014 in Vancouver*, B.C. The panel will choose a finalist from each category and winners will be announced at the end of the day.

*all finalists are responsible for making their own arrangements to attend the TeenFest in person.

Who can participate?

Any BC High School student from Grades 11-12 :

· With an idea to start a business.
· A business already established
· Who would like to explore the idea of starting a company.

What are the prizes?

Individual prize:

Winner would receive a laptop worth up to $1000 and a $3000 grant towards their Business Degree at ASM. Total value $4000.00

Team prize:

(3 members max): Each team member would win $1500 in grants towards a Business Degree at ASM. Total value $4500.00
