Earning the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association (NSA) is a culmination of many years work for Mary Charleson. Work, which involved documentation of speaking engagements over the last 5 years. As well as demonstrating her professional competency in numerous areas; 20 independent client evaluations, 4 peer reviews by CSPs from around the world, 2 of which she was able to designate and the other 2 were assigned independently. It was an arduous task of paperwork and planning, but a worthwhile exercise to be able to now join this exclusive group of true speaking professionals.
The CSP is the speaking profession’s international designation of professional excellence. It certifies a proven level of business and platform success earned by only the top 12% of speakers. There are only 60 CSPs in Canada (now 61!), less then 10% of Global Speakers Federation members internationally hold this designation.
