The 2024 Convocation at Acsenda School of Management was more than just a ceremony—
It was a celebration of achievements, friendships, and the incredible journey of the Class of 2024.
“Our class represents the global nature of our school, and among our 335 graduates, we are recognizing students from 28 different countries. We celebrate the graduation of students from our Business Administration Degree Program and Hospitality Management Program. We particularly want to congratulate our first graduates from our Real Estate Management and Financial Management concentrations.”

The event commenced with a grand procession led by Ms. Charlene Leon, setting a dignified tone for the day. Dr. Andy Basi, the Grand Marshal, officially welcomed everyone, adding a sense of occasion and warmth to the gathering. Ms. Abigail Dela Cruz performed a stirring rendition of ‘O Canada,’ invoking a sense of national pride. Elder Dee George provided a moving First Nations Invocation, paying respect to the indigenous traditions and setting a reflective mood.
Dr. Andy Basi introduced the platform party, recognizing the distinguished guests and officials present. A highlight of the ceremony was the induction of the new Chancellor, Dr. Ross Paul, officiated by Dr. Andy Basi and Dr. Neil Mort. Dr. Ross Paul then delivered his inaugural address as Chancellor, inspiring the graduates with his vision and wisdom. Dr. Neil Mort, the President of Acsenda School of Management, addressed the graduates, celebrating their hard work and resilience.
The valedictorian, Mrs. Rebekah Gwene Yares Bao, gave a heartfelt speech, reflecting on the collective journey and achievements of the class. Ms. Teresita Dela Cruz led the graduates in a solemn graduation pledge, marking their commitment to uphold the values and ethics of Acsenda. Dr. Ross Paul officially conferred the degrees upon the graduates, recognizing their academic accomplishments. Mrs. Nanette Señeres, representing the Alumni Association, welcomed the new graduates to the alumni community and encouraged them to stay connected. The ceremony concluded with a closing address by Dr. Ross Paul, who sent the graduates off with his best wishes for their future endeavors.
