BIBM490 – Global Business Strategy

This course assesses the turbulent environment in which international businesses operate and the approaches to strategy formulation and implementation for global and transnational businesses. It examines the barriers to market entry, the different market entry strategies, and possible international partnership agreements.

Students address the functional and operational management of companies and fuse together the theoretical and empirical aspects of international management, business finance, leadership and growth, legal requirements, business ethics and triple bottom line, management issues and problems, viewing them from the global perspective.
