This course covers the concepts, theories and real-life business situations that underscore employee relations within organizations including occupational health and safety (OHS) and engagement policies and practices that support the employment life cycle from onboarding to separation. The modern issues – unions, employee engagement, legal rights of workers, globalization, free trade, deregulation, privatization, and industrial reorganization are woven into topic areas.
