BHMT260 – Hospitality Managing Change

The main aim of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and an understanding of the various dimensions of consumer behaviour contemporary issues and future trends within the hospitality industry. The course will enable students to engage, review and explain key contemporary aspects of the hospitality industry and their relationship with society and culture.

The course provides a theoretical and practical understanding of consumer behaviour and the many roles it plays in the various sub-sectors of the hospitality industry. This course touches on lessons learned post-COVID-19, and the implications the pandemic may have on consumer behaviour relating to hospitality offerings and its workforce.
