The Holiday Spirit Abounds at Acsenda

The Vancouver cold has certainly never bothered our students, especially when the Christmas Market is in town. On November 24th, a group of 18 excited students joined in on a tour of the Vancouver Christmas Market. This cherished holiday event offers an authentic German feast for the senses. Strolling the twinkling pathways of a European-inspired Christmas village in the crisp winter air, our students had the chance to indulge in some delicious, traditional food and warm spiced beverages.

Each student had the chance to enjoy the various goods curated by the Market’s amazing vendors. They offered everything from beautiful artwork, handmade incense and soaps, and warm woolen mittens and hats. However, the fun didn’t end there! A fully-operational carousel offered a quick spin around the Market’s many gorgeous light installments, and it provided the perfect view of the Walk-In Christmas Tree, which offered a beautiful backdrop for festive photos.

Warm Food, Drinks, and Friendships

Seeing so many students have the chance to spend time with their friends and peers was lovely. In the spirit of the Holiday, many students also had the opportunity to meet new friends and share this wonderful experience. There is nothing like the Holiday spirit to end the year; for many students, this was the perfect way to end the Midterm season. Thank you to all of our students for participating in this event and for your positive and welcoming attitudes toward new friends and peers.

Looking Forward to the Holiday Season
