Acsenda School of Management is proud to announce that the academic papers of TWO of our Bachelor of Hospitality Management students (Sebastian Cortes and Octavio Viramontes) will be included in ICOT2020 this year, a conference that builds on the collective success of the previous nine International Conferences on Tourism (ICOT) previously held in Greece, China, Cyprus, U.K., Italy, Thailand and Portugal.
With representatives from 110 learning institutions globally, this conference discusses all aspects of tourism development, including policy, planning, growth and degrowth.
We would also like to applaud our very own Thomas Gomes, the Acting Director for the BHMT Program, who will also have his academic paper included in the conference.
Details of the research papers to be presented on 17-18th September 2020:
- Sebastian Cortes: A critical examination of tripadvisor reviews – A case study of Westin Bayshore Hotel, Vancouver.
- Octavio Viramontes: A critical analysis of the impact generated by the COVID 19 pandemic in the Food and Beverage department of the hospitality sector.
- Thomas Gomes: An analysis of domestic, diaspora and international tourists’ spending and the impact on poverty reduction in Cox’s Bazar.
