Acsenda had the pleasure and privilege of kicking off our new partnership with the Canadian Institute of Traffic & Transportation (CITT). This new articulation will allow all BBA students at Acsenda to enroll in courses that will lead them towards their CITT-Certified Logistics Professional designation (CCLP). The CCLP designation is widely known in Canada as the most respected of all logistics-related designations – being preferred 3:1 by employers over any other designation. Acsenda now holds a very prestigious position with CITT as being the only post-secondary institution in the country fully accredited by them.

The level of interest this morning was truly remarkable. Nearly 170 students from all concentrations attended the informational session – which represents almost 15% of the entire student body at Acsenda! Pina Melchionna, CITT’s CEO and president remarked, “We are pleasantly surprised by the outstanding turnout this morning!” Through a quick Zoom poll, no less than 62% of the students who attended plan to seek more information about the designation. Many thanks go to Dr. Chehra Aboukinane (Dean of the BBA Program), for organizing the session, and to Louis Blais (Marketing Program Coordinator), for leading his Marketing Club executives on this special project to create impressive promotional material for the session.

On Wednesday, March 17, Acsenda will be having a follow-up event for students who were unable to attend the event or just want to learn more.
