Neil Mort (MA, MBA)
Neil has served in the post-secondary educational community for over 30 years. He began his career working in Student Housing and Residence Life, before acquiring a diverse management background working as a Registrar, in Enrollment Services, Student Services, international education, administrative systems development, facilities and risk management, and food services operations. He has had a key role in establishing two new post-secondary institutions in British Columbia.
His involvement and leadership also includes serving as a member of the Board for BCCIE (BC Council for International Education), as a member of the Council for BCCAT (BC Council on Admissions and Transfer), and founding Chair of the Private Degree Granting Institutions Association. Neil has an MBA in Educational Administration from Royal Roads University; a Master of Arts in Administration, Curriculum, and Instruction from Gonzaga University; and a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Education at Western University.
In his career, Neil has focused on student development and leadership, community development on campus and facilitating domestic and international transfer credit processes. Born and raised in the Vancouver area, Neil has been active in community service projects, youth sports coaching and Rotary International. He has also traveled extensively throughout the world.
