Neil Mort (MA, MBA, EdD.)

President Neil Mort has served in the British Columbia post-secondary educational community for over 30 years. He joined Acsenda School of Management in 2017.

Neil has an extensive and diverse background in higher education administration with a particular emphasis on international education. He had a key role in establishing two new post-secondary institutions in British Columbia.

His involvement and leadership also include serving as a member of the Board for BCCIE (BC Council for International Education), as a member of the Council for BCCAT (BC Council on Admissions and Transfer), and founding Chair of the Private Degree-Granting Institutions Association. Neil holds a Doctorate of Education from Western University, an MBA in Educational Administration from Royal Roads University; a Master of Arts in Administration, Curriculum, and Instruction from Gonzaga University; and a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.

In his career, Neil has focused on student development and leadership, community development on campus and facilitating domestic and international transfer credit processes. Born and raised in the Vancouver area, Neil is active in community service projects, youth sports coaching and Rotary International. He has also travelled extensively throughout the world.
